Naturopathic Medicine aims to address underlying causes of disease rather than manage symptoms with medications.  The primary goal is to evaulate each patient as an individual and empower them in managing their own health by taking the correct steps to prevent disease and maximize their potential.  Evidence-based natural therapies have a proven track record of delivering results without the associated side-effects, contraindications, addictions, tolerances, dependencies, or complications associated with conventional drugs and surgeries.

Diet and Lifestyle

The core of naturopathy is the use of diet and lifestyle to facilitate long-term solutions to health issues.  By empowering patients to adjust lifestyle and dietary factors, numerous diseases can be eliminated permanently, without any extra cost or efforts beyond those simple and effective changes.

Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition therapy employs the use of vitamins, minerals, and other food-derived constituents to either treat nutritional deficiencies, or to provide therapeutic effects.  Nutrition therapy is safe for most individuals and has accumulated an extensive base of scientific data to support its use.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the use of needle insertions into very specific connected points in the body.  Acupuncture needles are as thin as a hair and cause little to no pain, with often just a little bit of tingling.  Hundreds of published studies now support the use of acupuncture for numerous ailments; especially pain and musculoskeletal disorders.

Botanical Medicine

Botanical medicine involves the use of various standardized medicinal plant extracts including herbs, mushrooms, spices, berries, roots, rhizome and bark to alleviate disease.  Modern research has identified hundreds of active compounds in specific plants that offer effects similar to medication but often with fewer side effects and contraindications.
